ACCOR STRENGTHENS OPERATIONS TEAM IN EASTERN EUROPE
Accor, world leading hospitality group, has appointed Jean Wendling as Vice President of Operations Management in Eastern Europe. Jean will be in charge of pursuing outstanding quality of operations and high performance of hotels under his area of responsibility and support hotel openings.
Jean is a hospitality expert with 16 years of international operational, financial, sales and marketing expertise. His professional career began in high-class catering company Potel & Chabot located in Paris at sales and operational departments. Then he joined Accor in 2005 as F&B Manager of the 742-room Novotel Warsaw Centrum. He continued his career in Moscow at Novotel Sheremtyevo Airport and in Sofitel Budapest Chain Bridge as Executive Assistant Manager, then he was appointed as Deputy General Manager of Sofitel Warsaw Victoria. He returned to Hungary in 2017 as General Manager of a flagship hotel of Eastern Europe, Novotel Budapest City, and Budapest Congress Center.

Eastern Europe is a very dynamic region with well-established hotels as with a strong pipeline of growing portfolio of new brands. This is a very exciting but also demanding process requiring highest operational standards and passion for the hospitality. Jean will be based in Budapest in the team of Sabina Bartyzel, SVP Operations Accor Eastern Europe.
