New to the suite and exclusive to Swissôtel Chicago, the enhanced amenities are designed to boost the body’s natural circadian rhythms and promote a good night’s sleep. Guests can now enjoy a deeply immersive, full-body listening experience from Sara Auster, renowned sound therapist and meditation teacher. Designed to bring balance, relaxation and a sense of wholeness to the body, Sara’s sounds create a therapeutic and restorative effect for the mind and body. Guests of the Vitality Suite also receive a set of effortless, luxe and comfortable sleepwear designed by Lunya, part of an exclusive partnership between the industry disruptor and Swissôtel Chicago. The sleepwear features thoughtful and intentional design decisions, such as lay-flat pockets and straps that don’t slip, and is made from custom fabrics that are luxuriously soft and made from natural fibers focused on addressing sleep issues such as restlessness, temperature control and muscle aches.
Also new to the Vitality Suite, Swissôtel Chicago tapped local fitness instructors to develop in-room private training sessions available as an add-on for guests to book while staying in the suite. These sessions include yoga, stretching and meditation from certified yoga instructor Meridee Hodges as well as a custom workout with the hotel’s in-house personal trainer, Nicole Pernic, using the suite’s Wellbeing Wall, which includes a Peloton bike, water rower and more to offer guests a productive, personalized workout within the privacy of their own room.
Spanning over 1,700 square feet and five rooms, the Swissôtel Chicago Vitality Suite rethinks the conventional hotel room layout to optimize views and improve functionality. In the oversized bathroom, Dornbracht LifeSpa’s Kneipp water therapy bath and shower system allows guests to adapt their experience using water pressure that alternately soothes or revitalizes the body. Other features include a special soaking bath amenity and an a la carte pillow menu with a variety of options ranging from a Swiss Stone Pine Shaving Pillow to a Spelt Pillow. A refreshment center offers energizing snacks and drinks made with fresh fruits and superfoods, and Executive Chef Dan McGee presents a special five-course vitality menu using seasonal ingredients, available at an additional cost.
With pricing starting at $1,200 per night, the Vitality Suite builds on Swissôtel’s exceptionally well-received Vitality Program, an integrated approach to supporting guests by focusing on general well-being and quality of life. Within the Vitality Program, all Swissôtel guests are offered a host of services and amenities including fitness classes, healthy menu items, in-room spa services and more.
