Toronto, August 20, 2020 – Global hospitality leader Accor has reimagined the way guests can enjoy delicious food and drink with creative culinary offerings at its properties across North America. From private dining in a log cabin at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and the rooftop of Sofitel Reforma Mexico City to outdoor pop-ups with space to spare and Fairmont’s iconic Afternoon Tea enjoyed from the comfort of home, Accor offers plenty of ways to indulge while keeping safety top of mind.
NEW OUTDOOR DINING TO DISCOVER
A Gourmet Food & Wine Truck at Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa (Sonoma, California) Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa is putting a gourmet spin on the food truck experience with the launch of its new CaliForno Street Eats Food Truck. The new outdoor dining experience features a custom menu crafted by Chef Jared Reeves with creative and flavorful selections such as Green Grilled Cheese, Salt & Pepper Calamari, and a decadent s’mores kit, along with a Sonoma Valley wine pairing menu. After ordering, guests can sit at one of the surrounding fire pits or picnic tables, all of which are spaciously set apart from one another. Open Friday and Saturday evenings from 5pm.
New Rooftop Restaurant at Fairmont Chateau Whistler (Whistler - British Columbia, Canada) Fairmont Chateau Whistler has debuted the new Woodlands Rooftop – a majestic venue for intimate, open-air dining with a view. While taking in the beautiful mountain views, guests can indulge in a custom three-course family-style summer BBQ menu crafted by Executive Chef Isabel Chung, sip on refreshing cocktails and enjoy live music with family and friends. The three-course menu is USD $36 (CAD $49) per person + tax. Open Friday and Saturday evenings from 5pm now through September 6.
Fall Floral Terrace at CLOCKWORK Champagne & Cocktails at Fairmont Royal York (Toronto – Ontario, Canada) Fairmont Royal York’s renowned cocktail lounge, CLOCKWORK Champagne & Cocktails, will reopen its popular pop-up outdoor terrace August 25 offering an elegant garden party style dining experience in Toronto. Outfitted with a playful yet sophisticated floral design, the spacious patio will feature a delicious menu of unique cocktails and light bites daily at the corner of Front and York Street. Open Monday-Friday, 12-9pm and Saturday & Sunday, 10am-9pm (weekend brunch served 10am-2pm.)
BBQ + Bourbon Pop-Up at Fairmont Pacific Rim’s (Vancouver - British Columbia, Canada) Fairmont Pacific Rim has unveiled an outdoor pop-up patio this summer at the hotel’s front plaza in partnership with the hotel owners, Westbank. The patio features BBQ creations crafted by Executive Chef Damon Campbell, together with Bulleit Bourbon Old Fashioned cocktails, a line-up of local brews from Stanley Park Brewing, and live music. Open Thursdays and Fridays from 3pm - 8pm and Saturdays from 12pm - 8pm.

Private Log Cabin at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge (Jasper – Alberta, Canada) Escape to Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge for the ultimate private BBQ in one of the hotel’s luxury log cabins. Offering a collection of curated BBQ Packages, guests can choose the experience that best fits their desires with menu highlights including Maple & Juniper Bison Steaks, Rosemary & Garlic Rib-Eye to Fish Tikka Kebab and more. Guests can fire up the grill themselves, or have the expertise of a personal chef who will prep and cook the BBQ for the whole family all while sharing tips, tales and treasured recipes. BBQ Packages start at USD $185 (CAD $249) with in-cabin chef dining starting at USD $111 (CAD $150) for three hours.
Sky High Private Dining with Sofitel Mexico City Reforma (Mexico City, Mexico) It’s all about the details at - luscious contemporary cuisine, champagne toasts and exquisite views. The stylish and sophisticated venue, perched atop the 38th floor of , is pleased to offer a luxurious sky high private dining experience for groups of 2-8 guests. Diners will savor a five-course tasting menu with Dom Pérignon pairings designed by Chef de Cuisine Luis Escamilla from the private terrace at Cityzen Bar. Chef Escamilla will prepare the Parisian-inspired menu exclusively for the group and personally guide them through the evening’s culinary journey all while overlooking Mexico City’s most iconic landmarks. Scenic Picnic at Fairmont Le Château Montebello (Montebello - Quebec, Canada) Guests can now enjoy a physically distanced lunch complete with a fully stocked picnic basket on ’s perfectly groomed pasture or surrounding woodland area – a brand new addition to the property’s this season. On a sunny afternoon, guests can make time for relaxing moments by the Ottawa River while they savor an array of delicious nibbles, including Montebello’s finest cheese and several classic creations from the hotel’s kitchen brigade. Afternoon Tea To-Go at Fairmont Empress (Victoria - British Columbia, Canada) This summer, Fairmont Empress is offering their renowned Afternoon Tea To-Go. Imagine tea by the sea, tea atop Mount Doug, tea in Beacon Hill Park or tea at Willows Beach, among many other lovely places in and around Victoria. The hotel’s Tea to Go box is filled with the same sweet and savory delicacies that are found on its tea tier – made fresh to order daily and served with iced tea instead of hot tea but still made from its famous Empress Pekoe tea for USD $48 (CAD $65). Three New Thrilling Culinary Offerings at Fairmont Century Plaza (Los Angeles, California) Fairmont Century Plaza will usher in a new era of sophisticated dining and legendary service with three new culinary offerings – Lumière, The Bar at Century Plaza, and Café Vignette – when the much-anticipated Los Angeles hotel opens in late 2020. Helmed by James Beard-nominated Executive Chef Jason Franey, Lumière will be a modern American brasserie presenting a vibrant menu, which combines French technique with California style. The restaurant will boast a design that brings together Parisian flare with Century City innovation and will offer spacious indoor and outdoor seating along with a private dining room for parties of up to 14 guests. In the lobby, The Bar at Century Plaza will feature a creative and technique-driven cocktail program serving up one-of-a-kind libations, along with globally inspired light bites.
