Accor, a world leading hospitality group, has announced plans to open a new hotel in Colombia: ibis Styles Armenia. The hotel will be the first ibis Styles to open in the country, offering an innovative concept, unique and creative design and services designed so that guests have an unforgettable experience.
The ibis Styles Armenia will have 180 rooms, a restaurant, bar, rooftop, event rooms, a WOJO coworking space and swimming pool. The new hotel will be built on Avenida Centenario, one of the city's main thoroughfares, giving it a privileged location, and will be built by Felipe Gámez Arquitectos, a Colombian integrated architecture firm with more than 35 years of experience in housing and hotel projects.
"This new project is expected to become the favorite place for visitors to the city and the Eje Cafetero, listed as one of the favorite destinations for travelers in Colombia for its magical landscapes and plans for all tastes, from visits to coffee farms to amusement parks such as the Cocora Valley" says Luis Mirabelli, VP Development of Accor Hispanic America & Caribbean - Premium, Midscale & Economy Division.
The addition of ibis Styles Armenia supports the Group’s regional development strategy and will further consolidate the Eje Cafetero as one of the favorite destinations in Colombia.
