| AccorHotels: the concierges at Paris’ luxury and upscale hotels reveal their most romantic tips for an unforgettable Saint Valentine’s Day. For Saint Valentine’s Day, the concierges of Paris’ luxury and upscale hotels reveal their most romantic tips for an unforgettable Paris escapade. According to Thomas Dondaine, concierge at the Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg “a stroll along the Seine is the way to discover Paris at its most romantic.” When you leave the Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg, “walk towards the Tuileries Gardens where you can stop at the Musée de l’Orangerie to contemplate Monet’s immense Water Lilies murals. Continue through the garden and take the Passerelle des Arts footbridge over the river to the left bank and then walk along the Quais de Seine. Time comes to a halt between the Quai de Conti and the Quai Saint Bernard, and the river’s reflections reveal Notre-Dame Cathedral in a different light. Take the opportunity to enjoy a hot chocolate on the Ile Saint-Louis or a Berthillon ice-cream, dally in front of the second-hand bookstalls and lastly, if you have time, dance a Tango or seductive salsa on the waterfront at nightfall on the Quai Saint Bernard.” For dinner, Yannick Alléno, Chef at the Stay Faubourg restaurant, has conjured up a special Saint Valentine’s menu at €90 per person. For Sébastien Saab of the Hôtel Baltimore – MGallery by Sofitel, the 14th February is the perfect occasion for a “Coup de foudre au Baltimore” stay at €371.50. Treat yourself to this package which includes accommodation, breakfast, late check-out to 2pm, and a special St Valentine’s welcome including a bottle of champagne, a massage candle, bath salts and other surprises... The concierge also invites guests to take a romantic tour of Paris following the clues on a map of the city created specially for the occasion. At the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel, the restaurant FRAME teaches its guests to fall in love again. The five-course menu at €79 features five lessons: “Prolong the magic of that first glance”, “Cultivate the mystery”, “Play with fire”, “Steal the words from your mouth” and “Give you the moon”which are bound to reignite the flame! The Saint Valentine’s menus at the Stay Faubourg and FRAME restaurants are attached to this email. |
