September 2017: Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific has partnered with celebrity guest Chef Peter Kuruvita to invite seafood enthusiasts to experience a culinary 5-course delight this October, ‘Seafood from the Heart’.
After hosting a sell-out event ‘Taste of Sri Lanka’ at the hotel earlier in the year, Peter is returning to Novotel Manly by popular demand for this exclusive event. On the night, guests will be delighted by Peter’s menu which is brimming with carefully chosen seafood dishes and flavours from across the world.
Priced from $110 per person, including a glass of bubbles on arrival, guests will enjoy a range of seafood on the night including wild scallop sashimi, salmon pearls, local tuna, BBQ southern calamari and blue eye trevalla.
Peter is a long-time advocate and voice for sustainable seafood and said that on the night he will be sharing his message about the need to protect the oceans for the future with guests.
“Sustainability is a word on the lips of every Australian Chef and producer these days, with our oceans reaching dangerous levels of overfishing. If we are not careful in the way we choose our seafood, there won’t be any left for future generations,” he said.
For those with a sweet tooth Peter concludes the degustation menu with a heavenly dessert of coconut custard with brown bread ice-cream, burnt orange and a macadamia crunch.
