New restaurant BODA debuts from top floor of Mövenpick Hotel Auckland
Offering fresh, modern cuisine and cocktails alongside sweeping views of the City of Sails
Serving food fit for its views, BODA delivers modern Asian cuisine with a distinctively New Zealand edge, featuring quality regional produce wherever possible.
Every aspect of the menu showcases the use of traditional cooking methods and will transport guests from the streets of Auckland to the nightlife of Asia for an evening. Dishes are popping with flavour and include the likes of sambal and ginger grilled octopus, roasted buttercup tofu noodes, crispy beef short ribs, chicken crackling with the Chef’s secret spice and fragrant TTeok Galbi skewers, a dish originally made to serve the King in South Korea.
However, it is the signature seafood pie that is predicted to be the most celebrated BODA dish – an ocean-inspired delight containing a beautiful medley of snapper, prawn and scallop wrapped in puff pastry.
Mövenpick Hotel Auckland’s chocolate foundations are also obvious in BODA’s dessert menu, which features a chocolate fondant dish and a dark chocolate tart – both unmissable experiences from the brand known for their indulgent origins. For a lighter end to your meal, the lime cheese cake will surprise and delight with its zingy flavour profile.
The bar within BODA is a destination unto itself – perched on the same top floor as the restaurant, it offers a drink for every occasion. From playful, innovative cocktails bursting with bright, Asain-inspired flavours to a range of classic, local wines, guests will be able to unwind and take in the views of the city below with a delicious drink in hand.
