The new Movenpick Living & Residences will be located in the New Capital City (NCC), Egypt, which features hospitality, residential, entertainment, commercial, retail components and government entities, including the presidential palace, parliament, cabinet, Supreme Court, all ministries of Egypt and various foreign embassies.
“This is a very exciting project for Accor in Egypt”, says Mark Willis CEO of Accor India, Turkey, Middle East, and Africa. “This new addition will be introducing a unique offering to the New Capital City of Cairo, providing residents and travellers with a new home with the luxury of hotel services!”
In addition to the rooms, the property will feature four Food & Beverage outlets, including a Movenpick Lounge, a speciality restaurant and Pool Bar as well as a fitness centre, a spa and a Little Bird’s Club.
The NCC is located 45 kilometers east of Cairo, in an area approximately half the size of the seaport of Suez. A new intercity metro link will be built to connect NCC to Cairo via New Cairo. In addition, an international airport will be constructed and located in NCC.
Accor currently operates 34 properties (9,399 keys) in Egypt with 29 properties (9,561 keys) in the pipeline.
