Accor is pleased to announce the signing of a radiant new MGallery Hotel Collection address in Chengdu. Chengdu Financial City – MGallery Collection will open in 2026, in the vibrant central business district of the city, with dazzling views overlooking the banks of the Jinjiang River. Chengdu Financial City – MGallery Collection will be the third hotel in the Chengdu area for the MGallery brand, joining Ocean Spring Resort Chengdu – MGallery and the soon-to-open Chengdu Expo Waterfall Hotel – MGallery later this year. The signing of Chengdu Financial City – MGallery comes as Accor is set to open five MGallery hotels in Greater China in the coming months, doubling the brand’s portfolio in the country from its current five hotels in operation to 10 by the end of the year.
“MGallery Collection continues to be an outstanding growth story in Greater China, where we are creating a constellation of memorable and meaningful hotels – each with its own distinct personality and rigorous commitment to sustainability, creativity, and a progressive mindset,” said Gary Rosen, CEO, Accor Greater China. “Accor is leading the way with its collection brands and MGallery resonates profoundly with Chinese travelers who appreciate its elegance and sense of ease. With bespoke experiences linked to its local communities and unexpected twists on modern design, MGallery delivers an exclusive boutique hotel style of hospitality that we are keen to introduce to more distinguished addresses across the country.”
Chengdu Financial City – MGallery Collection is located right where the financial business district meets the Jinjiang landscape belt of Jiaozi Park – where modern culture mixes with the natural landscape. Nearby, the new SKP Chengdu attracts visitors with its popular confluence of fashion, tech, and art. Just as Central Park in Manhattan balances the energy of the world’s top financial center, so too does Jiaozi Park act as an important ecological fulcrum for Chengdu’s world-class business district. The new MGallery will be perfectly situated for orchestrating connections between its guests and this essential part of the city.
“MGallery is a curated collection of over 120 boutique hotels worldwide: each one unique, intimate, and refined, with its own captivating story. The M of MGallery stands for Memorable and Meaningful, each hotel drawing richness from their local connections, providing guests with unforgettable experiences that are passionately crafted. They are not just inspiring but also committed to shaping the future of luxury hospitality, giving back to the communities they belong to. We're eager to welcome our passionate and curious guests to more havens in China", stated Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel, MGallery, and Emblems.
