Accor and Suning announce that they are reinforcing their strategic partnership with a Signing Ceremony held on Thursday, October 31st, 2019. This significant event between two renowned companies in Greater China will usher in more exciting developments in the near future.
In the past nearly 30 years of development, Suning has been dedicating to leading the trends through enhanced services and customer experiences. Hotel is one of the core businesses for Suning and through which the company demonstrates quality lifestyle for high-end consumers. It successfully integrates the company’s other key products and services from offline platforms to smart retail solutions.
Accor is currently the second largest luxury hotel group in the world, the largest lifestyle player, and the global leader in branded residences. In 2019, Accor continued to expand its network across Greater China with a total of up to 84 hotel openings. These properties include a collection of luxury and premium branded hotels such as the highly anticipated launch of Raffles Shenzhen. Sofitel Beijing Central celebrated Accor’s milestone of being its 1,100th hotel to open in Asia Pacific. Four significant Pullman hotels, namely Shanghai Qingpu, Suzhou, Huizhou and Changbaishan, opened in 2019, along with Grand Mercure Qingdao Pingdu. Changbaishan Luneng Resort with two Accor favourites, Swissôtel and MGallery, will open shortly; Fairmont Wuhan is slated to be unveiled in December; while a number of dynamic properties under the premium boutique collection MGallery will be launched soon in Hong Kong, Chengdu, and Mile in Yunnan Province.
