AccorHotels has won three major awards at the Ninth Annual TTG China Travel Awards ceremony recently. ibis has been awarded “Best Economy Hotel Brand in Greater China” for the seventh consecutive year while Sofitel Wanda Harbin was named “Best City Hotel in Northeast China” and Sofitel Xining won “Best Business Hotel in Northwest China”. Attended by industry professionals from travel and tourism organisations, the event recognises the best travel trade in Greater China.

Founded in 2008, the TTG Travel Awards is a TTG Travel Trade Publishing Event organised by TTG China which takes place annually in Shanghai in conjunction with IT&CM China, and CTM China. The TTG China Travel Awards is modelled after the annual flagship TTG Travel Awards, which honours the best in Asia Pacific’s travel and tourism organisations, and is regarded as one of the most coveted and influential awards in the region’s industry since its inception in 1989.
This year also saw the award went to 61 exemplary travel trade suppliers as determined by votes cast by fellow trade professionals who are readers of TTG-BTmice China, TTG Asia, TTGmice, TTGassociations, TTG India and TTG Asia Luxury.
