Sofitel London St James Announces Partnership With The Design Museum In Celebration Of The Charlotte Perriand Exhibition
From 22nd July to 31st August, the hotel’s Opera Suite, reminiscent of a private London apartment with stunning views of the city’s most elegant buildings, will be totally transformed into a Perriand inspired haven. Decorated with books, ceramics, and prints that were inspired or influenced by the artist, it is perfect for those seeking to truly immerse themselves in the life of Charlotte Perriand.
As part of the exciting new collaboration, guests of the hotel can enjoy 30% off the exhibition, allowing them to delve into the work of famous French designer Charlotte Perriand, whose pioneering designs shaped the 20th century. Charlotte Perriand created functional living spaces in the hope that better design would create a better society and the exhibition is the perfect opportunity for visitors to explore one of London’s stunning museums, while discovering more about an artist whose modern ideas are still relevant today.
To mark the new partnership, the hotel’s acclaimed St James Bar has introduced a playful Perriand signature drink, The Ever Love, a cocktail made with the artists favourite drink, Champagne. The limited-edition cocktail is made with Everleaf Mountain, a vibrant blend of 12 sustainably sourced botanicals including Cherry Blossom, Rosehip and Strawberry, topped up with Champagne and garnished with exquisite edible flowers. There is no better way to end an afternoon of culture than to recline in the hotel bar with a chilled cocktail in hand.
The partnership, led by ALL, Accor’s global loyalty programme, will also offer members access to exclusive experiences including a private tour of the exhibition led by a Design Museum’s representative, as well as VIP events at museum as part of the partnership - just some of the many special experiences available for ALL members.
Guests wishing to experience every aspect of the collaboration will receive complimentary exhibition tickets along with a signature cocktail for two when booking the Opera Suite. For more information or to book please visit: https://sofitelstjames.com/en/offers-14.html

Originally opened in 2002, Sofitel London St James sits at the heart of London’s tailoring district, just footsteps from Buckingham Palace, Leicester Square and St James’ Park. Building upon the legacy of the building’s rich heritage as a banking institution, the Accor hotel underwent a £16.5m refurbishment project in 2019 under the creative direction of Pierre-Yves Rochon, renovating the 183 guest rooms with modern, bold interior design and reaffirming Sofitel London St James’s as the home of luxury French elegance in London. In line with the renovation, Chef Anthony Demetre’s successful Mayfair restaurant reopened at the hotel, bringing Wild Honey St James to life alongside the new St James Bar, under the leadership of head chef, Simon Woodrow.
