ibis Brussels Groot Bijgaarden is the latest Belgian addition to the global hospitality group Accor. Located in Brussels with great accessibility to the city centre, Atomium and Groot Bijgaarden castle, the hotel is set to attract city trippers and business travellers alike.
Good accessibility
The hotel’s convenient location on the E40 highway between Ghent and Brussels, just a ten-minute walk from Groot-Bijgaarden station, means that the city centre and various tourist attractions are within easy reach by public transport or car. Heysel Business Park is also just around the corner. It is adjacent to two brand new Texaco petrol stations, a Burger King, Starbucks, Go Fresh bakery and a Louis Delhaize shop, all operated by EG Group.

Contemporary Design
Designed in the innovative yet minimalist ‘ibis Square’ design concept, the hotel provides a comfortable and welcoming setting for visitors with multi-functional and stylishly-designed guestrooms that comfortably accommodate work and sleep and public spaces that are open and social to guests and neighbours. Natural tones and textures contrast with brightly coloured furniture accents throughout the building’s guestrooms, lobby and social areas. The hotel’s entrance is marked by large, bright windows which blur the boundary between the hotel and street, a signature feature of the brand’s Square design which is designed to be open to all.
Plentiful Amenities
Once checked in, guests settle into one of 40 comfortable and soundproofed rooms equipped with smart TVs with Chromecast making it easy for guests to stream their own content, as well as air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi and the famous Sweet Bed by ibis. These beds are specially designed for ibis, with high-tech mattresses that adapt to the body, offering a great sleep. They are so appreciated that ibis decided to make the beds available for guests to buy from the ibis Hotel Store so they can bring the restful ibis experience into their homes. After a good night's sleep, guests can enjoy a full continental breakfast at the hotel, or choose from one of a number of dining options within walking distance from the hotel.
