ibis, the world’s best known economy hotel, today announces the return of its acclaimed music programme to Europe. This Summer, ibis MUSIC will host a number of exciting experiences at selected hotels in Europe, as well as partnerships with renowned music festivals, including Rock in Rio Lisboa, Sziget, and Montreux Jazz Festival.
Launched in 2019, the ibis MUSIC programme strives to unite people through the power of sound by showcasing up-and-coming artists, partnering with the best music festivals, and giving hotel guests the perfect place to be able to listen loud and sleep sound.
As part of the festival line-up, ibis will again team up with ALL, Accor’s booking platform and loyalty programme. ALL is delivering on its promise to bring a little extra soul to travel, with a wide catalogue of exclusive experiences at the world's biggest music events. Members choose according to their preferences, music genres, destinations, and budget.
At the Sziget Festival (7th-12th August) in Hungary, a special ibis x ALL.com BUZZ stage will feature notable artists from around the world. Hailed as one of Europe's largest festivals, Sziget celebrates global music and culture, with big-name acts for 2024 including Kylie Minogue, Raye, Stormzy, and Liam Gallagher. ALL members will enjoy access to exclusive VIP packages.
Additional partnerships include the Montreux Jazz Festival (5th -20th July), a two-week event held on the beautiful shores of Lake Geneva that attracts 250,000 people every year. One of the world's biggest and most acclaimed jazz festivals, Montreux combines a breathtaking setting, concerts with celebrated musicians, and many free stages. This year’s festival will feature the ibis xALL.com MUSIC Terrace, where festivalgoers will find a laidback vibe at the bar during the afternoon, followed by intimate electro-pop live performances in the evening and DJ sets every night, all overlooking Lake Geneva. Further information about the ibis MUSIC Terrace x ALL.com can be found here.
Lisbon’s Rock in Rio, where Ed Sheeran, Doja Cat, and the Jonas Brothers will be amongst the acts headlining the rock festival, will take place between 15th -16th and 22nd -23rd June. Now in its 20th year, Rock in Rio Lisboa comes to the Portuguese capital for a sunny celebration of all things pop and rock. ibis and ALL will host a special hotel pop-up to entertain festivalgoers with fun activities, from a pillow fight photo booth, virtual reality games, a cozy music bar with intimate performances, and even power nap stations for revelers to chill and recharge their batteries and their cell phones. Moreover, ALL members will enjoy a private dinner overlooking the main stage with one night's accommodation at a local ibis hotel.
