Accor invites visitors to collect loyalty points at the Zugspitze, the highest mountain in Germany
For visitors to the Zugspitze, there is now another highlight to marvel at in addition to the countless peaks on the border between Germany and Austria. ALL, Accor's loyalty program and global address for daily lifestyle experiences, has installed Germany's highest hotel room in an eye-catching glass showcase on the Zugspitzplatt. The interior including real hotel furniture comes from the Accor brand Novotel, with which the hotel group started more than 50 years ago.
Even though the view is not only the highest but probably also the best in Germany and beyond, spending the night in the pop-up hotel room will remain a dream. Still, those who makes their way up to the hotel room will be rewarded: A QR code on the outside of the glass rooms invites all experience hunters and point collectors to register for Accor's loyalty program and secure their first 500 points. These can be redeemed directly during the next stay in one of the more than 5,100 Accor hotels worldwide, for example in the Munich hotels of the French hotel group or the Mercure Hotel Garmisch-Partenkirchen, which is only a few kilometers away from the Zugspitze cable car valley station.
