ALL - Accor Live Limitless as official partner of the Montreux Jazz Festival
Adapted to the current situation, the 55th edition presents itself in a more intimate setting with four stages spread across the grounds of the Fairmont Le Montreux Palace:
The main stage SCÈNE DU LAC was built for the first time as part of the Montreux Jazz Festival in the lake 25 meters from the shore and has up to 500 seats. Framed between the water and the Alps, two artists perform here every day. As a special highlight, the Accor brand ibis will act as host for one evening: On 10 July 2021 the ibis MUSIC night will finally take place live on stage again. The Australian singer and songwriter Sam Fischer has been secured as the main act. ibis was already successfully represented at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2019 with the 'Terrasse ibis MUSIC'.
The second paid stage, PETIT THÉÂTRE, with 200 seats, is located in the hotel's ballroom and is dedicated entirely to jazz and soul. LES JARDINS, located in the garden of the Fairmont Le Montreux Palace, is accessible free of charge: spontaneous acoustic showcases will take place here until two in the morning. Relaxed DJ sets and an extensive gastronomic offer including a beer garden and cocktail bar will ensure a summer atmosphere. The GRAND HALL will be the venue for freely accessible activities of the Montreux Jazz Artists Foundation, from jam sessions and concerts of the Montreux Jazz Talent Awards (Thursday to Saturday) to individual workshops.
As a retreat before, between, or after the concerts, the Fairmont Le Montreux Palace has also created a distinctive pop-up bar in collaboration with the festival's curators: the Fairmont Vinyl Bar is decorated in the spirit of the event with an iconic collection of 3,500 records and is open to all guests of the hotel.
Attentive guests will also spot a very special location on the waves of Lake Geneva: exclusively for selected members of its lifestyle Loyalty programme, Accor has chartered the ALL boat for the duration of the festival. With just nine seats, various events take place here every day, from mini-concerts to workshops and cocktail hour. Not bookable, Accor wants to illustrate the uniqueness and the claim of its loyalty programme.
