This summer, the Novotel & Mercure terraces are taking part in #ParisDébranche Starting in June, several Novotel and Mercure terraces will host “disconnected” evening events so hyper-connected and overbooked Parisians can take a break from work and the internet for an evening. Participants, whether they are digital detox enthusiasts or simply intrigued by the concept, will be invited to take a photo on arrival and post it on the social networks to warn their friends and loved-ones that they will be unreachable for the evening. Then, they will be given a personalized phone case featuring the #ParisDébranche (Paris Unplug) hashtag and will have to put their phone in flight mode. At the end of the evening when they return their phone case, they will be able to reconnect. There will be a host of activities on offer to help participants unwind while they disconnect, including cocktail workshops, massages, live music, and more. Four themed evenings (sport, food, fun, art) will be organized on the following dates: 26th June at the Mercure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel, 29th June at the Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacré Cœur, 8th July at the Novotel Paris Vaugirard Montparnasse and 22nd July at the Mercure Paris Bastille Saint Antoine. |
