Raw, recycled and natural materials coexist in greet hotels.
Whether salvaged or repurposed, objects are given a new lease of life. Small “new lease of life” labels are then attached to each of these items, specifying their origin and how greet has successfully upcycled them. A philosophy of giving a second chance is another of the brand’s commitments. Staying true to this approach, greet is taking action to protect the planet and is a member of the Planet 21 - Acting Here program launched by Accor in 2016 to promote positive hospitality. As part of its plastics commitment, Accor plans to eliminate all guest-related single-use plastic items by end 2022.
This program provides a framework for the Group’s 2020 sustainable development policy, which is based on six strategic areas:
An eco-friendly brand, greet is focused on taking concrete steps to promote diversity and inclusiveness and to protect the environment.
Stay true to its core values, the welcome gifts and items for sale in greet hotels are eco-responsible, ethically-sourced, and designed or produced by local craftspeople or charitable organizations.
Finally, greet hotels source produce either locally or from short food supply chains to promote the local economy, foster community engagement, and provide the very best, healthiest and most sustainable food choices available.
