Pullman announces to opening of the brand’s first hotel in the historic city of Yueyang and its second in Hunan province. Slated to open in quarter four of 2018, Pullman Yueyang Oriental is located in the idyllic western shores of Dongting Lake.
The new hotel will be part of the Dongting Lake International Residences under Guangdong Huanghe Group. The 136-acre development comprises the 300-room hotel, a cluster of residential villas and an 18-hole golf course. Part of the city’s development, Pullman Yueyang Oriental is the group’s key project in the lakeside vicinity. Ideal for business and leisure travellers, the hotel will offer an extensive range of dining and recreational facilities with versatile meetings and events space.
Located in the northeast of Hunan Province, Yueyang is renowned for its picturesque Dongting Lake and gorgeous Yueyang Tower with a history dating back to some 2,500 years. The vast and beautiful Dongting Lake is like a fancy satin belt encircling the ancient city while Yueyang Tower has attracted numerous literati, where poems and scenic surrounds made the tower a cultural landmark of the city.

As an initiative under the brand, the “Artist Playground” will be part of the feature at Pullman Oriental Yueyang to add elements of local interest to the hotel’s communal space.
