Novotel Budapest Centrum is coming back to the touristic map of Hungary
Novotel Budapest Centrum hotel will be reopened after two years. The 4-star and 227-room hotel is located in an enviable spot of the city. It is offering all the benefits of international excellence and service standards, meeting the evolving needs of today’s travelers – well-equipped rooms of the historical building designed for the comfort of leisure and business travelers. In addition, the hotel will have a restaurant, bar, and conference & wellness facilities.

Accor’s partner in the project, Mogotel Hotel Group is the leading hotel operator of the Baltic States, with 20 years’ experience in the hospitality and tourism industry operating hotels in Ukraine, Germany, Poland, and Bulgaria beyond the Baltics. The signing of the hotel is a major milestone for the Group to continue its expansion in the region. Mogotel wants to strengthen its partnership with Accor in Central Europe for the next years, bringing a new level of hospitality for midscale and upper-midscale properties.

The hotel will be opened under the name, Novotel Budapest Centrum, but according to the plans, it will be upgraded to the Movenpick brand to bring a new, fresh look to the Budapest hospitality market. It is scheduled to open its doors under the new brand in the first half of May 2025 under the Movenpick Palace Hotel Budapest name.
The project is being implemented by Mogotel Hotel Group, subsidiary “Mogotel Development Holding” with the financial support of state-owned development finance institution ALTUM. With this financial support, Mogotel Hotel Group has set a priority to add 10 midscale and upper-midscale properties in Central Europe to offer hotels accessible for every segment there.
