Despite difficult situation for hospitality industry around the world, Accor still strengthen its portfolio of brands. The group has just signed a management agreement with UAB Doriteksas for new hotel in Kaunas. Thanks to this agreement from June 2021 UAB Doriteksas will manage existing Magnus hotel, which after full renovation will operate under ibis Styles brand. The leitmotif of new ibis Styles hotel will refer to sports, which is a theme strongly connected to the city.
Lithuania is one of the most important countries for Accor in Baltic area, and the most visited by tourist from Poland. Even in difficult year as 2020 Polish guest were 3rd to visit Lithuania for holidays. New ibis Styles hotel will offer 82 modern and uniquely design rooms located on 9 floors, restaurant and conference area. One of the biggest attraction will be a rooftop bar offering the best view on the whole city – a true place to be. Upgraded hotel will be opened as ibis Styles in May 2022.
Magnus hotel is located in close neighborhood to the old part of Kaunas, which makes it a good spot to explore the city. Close distance to Žalgiris Arena provides also perfect place for every sport enthusiasts.
